VDM® Alloy 751 (2.4694/N07751) is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy that can be age-hardened.
Its ability to be hardened is achieved by means of admixtures of titanium, niobium and aluminum. It can be delivered in a solution-annealed or hardened condition. This alloy is generally used in an age-hardened state.
Due to its high strength up to 820 °C (1,508 °F) and its excellent corrosion resistance, VDM® Alloy 751 can be used in a wide range of applicatioons. A typical application is exhaust valves of combustion engines.
